Spring Functional Configuration Types

We should consider gathering the facilities used by AOT-generated code into first-class support for functional configuration types.

After team discussion, it has been decided that the 6.1 timeline will be too early for us to implement Functional Configuration Types. The other features scheduled for the 6.1 release will have enough impact on the wider Spring portfolio, and introducing Functional Configuration Types would add (a lot) more work.

We have decided to do experimental work on this issue in parallel to the 6.1 release, but not make the issue part of this release.

@poutsma Thank you for the update. Is it fair to say that this feature is likely to land on 2H2023 rather than earlier?
