Using gorm version github.com/jinzhu/gorm v1.9.12 with mysql 8, After sometime our application is hanging and the db query goes on a hang state and in the end it gives as a value. Although after restarting the db calls work perfectly for sometime.

Should I use db.Close() after every call. But when I see mysql status it shows something like this: show status where variable_name = 'Threads_connected'; +-------------------+-------+ | Variable_name | Value | +-------------------+-------+ | Threads_connected | 6 | +-------------------+-------+
