master_link_down_since_seconds:1600947692

I know that is time (in seconds) that the link between master and slave was down.

But in my scenario this value is quite huge e.g. 1600947692, even though master has been down only for a min or so, it propagates to sentinel's master-link-down-time value and effectively renders the slaves as invalid, i.e. not eligible to be elected for failover.

I don't know why and what could be the reason for so much value?

looks like server.repl_down_since is 0 we just celebrated 1600000000 last week 8-)

are you sure this replica was ever connected to a master? which version of redis are you using? maybe there's something useful in the log file?
