Redis Redis 4.0.1;1 APPEND to existing String value > 512MB fails with "ERR string exceeds maximum allowed size (512MB)"

Seems that checkStringLength in t_string.c has a hard coded check of "if (size > 51210241024) {" and is called by append and setRange commands.
