I have downloaded the file "redis-4.0.9.tar.gz", and unpack it to folder "redis".
In the shell , I cd to "redis", and input "make". But it don't work.

It seems you don't have make installed on your device. Please refer to the relevant LEDE forums to figure out how to get make, gcc and other build essentials installed on your device.
