Well... Either upgrade to 5.0.10 if it exists on the port of redis you're using (This project doesn't support Windows), or ask the maintainer of that redis port to backport the fix mentioned above.

Or maybe first ask them if at all that port is affected by this problem. i.e. this inevitability exists only in some memory allocators, it could be that in the one you're using there's no problem.
