I was wondering how plausible it might be to have save configuration associated with DBs rather than servers?
I would like to store valuable data (like users) in redis along with not-so-valuable data (like statistical aggregations), preferably the DB would be durable for the former and super-fast for the latter. Having them in the same place would be handy.
Configuration example might be:
save.1 1 1
dbfilename.1 db-1.dump
save.2 900 1
dbfilename.2 db-2.dump

Such a feature would be very appreciated here too. :-)

This sounds like an interesting idea. However, this issue is very old. You are welcome to open a new issue if you still feel that it needs to be discussed.
