The issue can be reproduced the issue with following git project

In the application.propeties, the health status Status.OUT_OF_SERVICE is mapped to a custom http code 555:
management.endpoint.health.status.http-mapping.out-of-service=555
HTTP code 555 is not a standard, but still a valid http code. Because of this, the health rest endpoint crashes with exception
[Request processing failed; nested exception is java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: No matching constant for [555]] with root cause. The complete exception:

When accessing http://localhost:8080/actuator/health, what do you get? It should be http code 500 and on server side it should log the error

This problem did happen, and the http statuscode responded by the health() method is indeed 555. but when executing this method to the client to return will ues the 555 as the http response code and the 555 does not exist in org.springframework.http.HttpStatus enum. so the error was happend. 555 is indeed not existing org.springframework.http.HttpStatus, because it is not a standard http code. But http code are extendable see following quote in the following link
HTTP status codes are extensible. HTTP applications are not required to understand the meaning of all registered status codes, though such understanding is obviously desirable.
Shouldn't spring boot allow non standard http code

Thanks for the report. This should indeed by supported. Interestingly it works fine when the Actuator is running on Jersey but fails when running on Web MVC or WebFlux.
