Spring Security Message Compose in JavaConfig hellojs Sample Fails

Describe the bug

When attempting to compose a message in the Java Config hellojs sample, there is a JavaScript error.

To Reproduce

Start the JavaConfig hellojs sample and log in with user/password, click "Compose", fill in the message details and click "Create". The message will get created, but the JavaScript success response will error out.
