Session Management underwent a sizeable change in the 6.0 release. This has raised questions from the community like https://github.com/spring-projects/spring-security/issues/12431.
The session management section in the documentation should be revisited to ensure that it has up to date architectural analysis and usage recommendations. It should follow #12508.
