[X] I have confirmed this bug exists on the main branch of pandas.
Reproducible Example
I convert dictionary to a dataframe, so now I have a nested dataframe, but when I save to xlsx, the nested dictionary does not show up

I think it is converting the nested dataframe to a string that is leading to issues when saving it to xlsx file
Expected Behavior
the nested dataframe shows up in the xlsx file
