The current version (1.2.3) has bugs
I have seen that many branches have already upgraded to 1.2.5, except the 2.3.x branch.

2.3.x has reached the end of its OSS support period. You should upgrade to 2.4.x or 2.5.x at your earliest convenience. In the meantime you can use the logback.version property to override the Logback version to meet your needs.
