I am thinking to add the Support for Remote Cloud Dev. so that folks can easily contribute to the project without any extra effort of setting up the environment, and Contributing from an Device.

Requirements

  • We would need a .gitpod.yml that would do all the setup and create a prebuild every time a contributor stars the environment in Gitpod.

@Siddhant-K-code Thanks for raising this. We're definitely interested in Gitpod integration but we're stretched pretty thin at the moment. What would it require to "do all the setup and create a prebuild"? We'd like to get a feel for how much work will be involved both initially and in terms of ongoing maintenance.

Thanks for your interest in Gitpod integration. I have created a PR #31185 for the same. And this would not affect the ongoing maintenance.
